Visit to Olomouc Research Library: Study Room of Historical Collections
Olomouc Research Library is a public library with a rich tradition (founded in 1566) and an extensive library collection covering all subjects (more than 2 million volumes). It is the second oldest and third largest library of its kind in the Czech Republic.
During the visit, the librarian will show the visitors some of the precious manuscripts and maps, e.g. Martino Martini’s Novus Atlas Sinensis, Michał Boym’s Flora Sinensis and other unique exemplars.
